Welcome to our
Café page and thank you for your interest.
We wanted to
introduce Portsmouth to a European style coffee
shop. We named the café with a European name, the
menu is European and so are we. Solln is a district
in Munich, Germany; where we are from. Kaffee
(pronounced café) means coffee in German, Von means
from; so Kaffee Vonsolln = Coffee from Solln.
But there is more.
Some of you might
have heard of European pastries such as the Famous
Viennese Apple Strudel (we absolutely have it). Our
goal is to create a cozy, relaxed atmosphere in our
shop where people can sit or pick up something they
like, to go.
We are also open Friday and
Saturday nights when you could try our cappuccino
cocktails made with liquors and cordials and also
wines and beers, or you can chose to have one of our
Internationally imported lose leaf teas. With time
there will be more coming, so if you don't see
something you like now, check back with us, with
changing seasons our menu will also change.
